For book/ebook authors, publishers, & self-publishers

Hello fellow members of The Book Marketing Network,

My name is 4-LAN and this is my second blog. I intend to post every once in a while under the same title.

This entry I would like to share my current read entitled The Moon Stealers Book One The Quest For The Silver Bough by Tim Flanagan. You can visit Tim's page here on The Book Marketing Network and then follow his link to his site. From there you can click on the cover of The Moon Stealers and be redirected to Amazon. The first three chapters are available for free. If you get hooked, like I did, the purchase price (at least at the time I bought the book), is only 99 cents.

The story takes place in The United Kingdom-some parts England other parts Scotland. The time setting appears to be now, or at least, recent modern times. A boy named Peter Crisp spends the night in a graveyard on a dare, but is apprehended by an unknown entity before he has a chance to win the bet.

Meanwhile, Steven, an agent with MI6, gets a new assignment to investigate strange meteorites containing a flesh eating bacteria. It so happens that the site of the meteor storm is in the same town as the mysterious disappearance of Peter Crisp.

Some of Peter's schoolmates decide to look for the missing youth at the graveyard, as the bet was big news at their school. They meet up with a young girl whose father owns the surrounding lands and an old man who claims to be one of King Arthur's Knights. Edgar, the Knight of the Round Table, has been under a spell by Merlin, keeping him from aging, as he has been charged with the task of guardian and protector over Peter Crisp's family's lineage.

The story is a fun filled adventure of mystery and action-combining our 'ordinary' world with the realms of fantasy and perhaps the Moon Stealers themselves could even possibly have science fiction origins, as they seem to be derived somehow by this alien bacteria contained within the meteorites.

The Moon Stealers and the Quest For the Silver Bough is a fast paced, quick read, ideal for the young reader or the young at heart. I must warn the reader, though, the ending will have you scrambling back to Amazon to purchase Book 2! As I will be doing shortly :-)

Thank you for tuning in, Book Marketing Network!

Sincerely,

4-LAN
