The Lone Hero by DM Yates
Hello fellow members of The Book Marketing Network. For those of you that follow my blog, I thank you and am happy to provide you with another installment of What I Am Reading.
Today I am reviewing The Lone Hero by DM Yates. You can find Ms. Yates's page here on TBMN and follow her link to her website which will direct you to Amazon where you can sample the beginning of The Lone Hero.
The Lone Hero is a fantasy story of Einarr, a half dragon and son to Lord Zavat ( a Grand Dragon and leader of his kind).
The story begins with trouble between the Feohteres (ruthless dragons of the desert) and the human settlements of nearby lands. In the spiritual plane, the immortals watch as these horrors unfold. Einarr ( one of the immortal spirits) is asked to go on a quest. He is to be born as a mortal being and to become The Lone Hero, chosen to save humanity from eradication by the evil Lord Tsaemo and his army of Feohteres and other species of dragons.
DM Yates weaves a magical tale of good versus evil and develops main characters that will have the reader cheering on. The spiritual aspects of the story create a very original take on the fantasy genre. For those that are like me and love dragon stories, The Lone Hero is a must read.
A bit of a warning-The ending is very tender and will require a box of tissues to assist through its fruition. It is all the more credit to DM for creating such lovable main characters that will have the reader so emotionally vested in them.
I highly recommend this great fantasy story.
