You Have to Actively Join in This Network for It to Work for You - and Help You Sell More Books

I've noticed a lot of people joining this network and then doing nothing. You have to engage with other people in this network, post blog entries, add events, join in the forums, and participate in the groups if you're going to get real benefits from belonging to The Book Marketing Network.

Unfortunately, because of spammers, I've had to take the step of approving members. If you look like a spammer because you don't provide any details about you and your book, I can't approve you.

Right now, about 40% of the people trying to join this network are obvious spammers - sometimes using automatic spamming tools for Ning networks. That's sad. That's why I have to approve members now. I'd much prefer to have a wide open network, but spammers quickly destroy a network if allowed to join.
