This collection is a rare delight. If the reader is familiar with the southern area of the UK Lake District, they will recognise the landscape and maybe the quaint characters of Ulverston. Strangers will be inspired to visit and seek out the oddities and breathtaking views these stories convey. Well done, Gladys Hobson, the golden scribe of Ulverston.
