Thank you, Martha. I hope you enjoy it. My friends say they have to have a box of tissues beside them when they read. You're an avid reader. You'll breeze right through it.

I'm glad you got a copy.

This is a comment from Author Lorilyn Roberts, Children of Dreams. I want to invite everyone to watch this show and enter the drawing. This is one amazing mother and daughter.

My daughter's story will be featured on Animal Planet's show "Monsters Inside Me" on Wednesday August 25, 10-11pm EST. The episode number is 210, Shape Shifters (unless they change it between now and then, but this is what they emailed me today).

To celebrate her inspirational adoption and healing from a devastating illness, I am offering a free copy of Children of Dreams on each of my websites from now until the end of August. Here is all you have to do. I just posted a devotional on my website and blog, "Many Lessons for a Life Worth Living," and if you will leave a comment -- a quote, Bible verse, something the devotional spoke to your heart, I will enter your name into a drawing for a signed hard copy. If you go to both websites and enter a comment in both places, your name will be entered twice.

My website is: http://www.lorilynroberts.com/blog.html
My blog is: http://lorilynroberts.blogspot.com/

The drawing will be September 1.

Hi Martha
Unfortunately I haven't had access to a computer for several weeks and I've also had a family bereavement. I will e-mail you personally. I'm still waiting on news regarding my second novel which should be any day now.
It is really nice to hear from you. Hope you are well.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Different Type of Cook Book - Highly Recommended!, October 13, 2009

(TOP 100 REVIEWER)
"Stir, Laugh, Repeat" is more than a just a great collection of practical recipes. In many cases, Martha Cheves has added personal comments and stories relating to the dish and has is also populated helpful tips after each recipe.

The structure of the book is different than I am used to seeing since there isn't a Table of Contents and the recipes are all mix up, with no real order. This was done to encourage the reader to actually read through the whole the book. Thankfully there is an Index so you can find the ones you like later.

Since I work from home most of the time and my wife works at our shop, I have been trying to make a few meals a week. This book has a lot of recipes that can actually be followed by someone with my limited skills. Also, since I am not an expert in the kitchen, the included hints are very welcome and have taught me some very handy cooking tricks.

An enjoyable and practical cookbook! Highly Recommended!

I received your book --it's great!! I love the cover--its got a beautiful energy and the colors, title and subtitle all work really well together!

"I grew up in a restaurant that my grandparents owned. When I received Martha's book my mom was visiting; she picked it up and proceeded to read every story to me while we both belly laughed. Stir, Laugh, Repeat is filled with delicious, simple recipes all topped off with Martha's secret ingredient-her amazing sense of humor!"

Hi Martha, it is good to meet you. Yes, my book titled From My Mama's Kitchen-food for the soul recipes for living came out in January 2009. It is about my relationship with my nine moms and motherly love. The kitchen was used as the back drop because it is where we communicated a lot and also the kitchen is the heart and soul of any families home. Since my original intend was to write a cookbook to preserve mom's recipes I have included nine food recipes at the end of the book as icing on the cake! My book is available at Barnes and Noble.com and Amazon.com. BTW, Laura will be my guest on my From My Mama's Kitchen Talk Radio Show next Tuesday morning - 9/29/09. For more information please visit my website: www.frommymamaskitchen.com
Have a wonderful day. - Johnny
