Hi Gary. I'm running a self publishing series at my blog. Naturally I'm listing your twitter interviews as ways to promote book authors. What is the link you want me to list with that section?

Also, I'm wondering if you would like to write a guest post about your favorite ways to use twitter to market your books. I never check my messages here, so if you don't mind, could you email me with your responses at myaggie2@gmail.com? Thanks ever so much. I look forward to hearing from you.

Thank you, Gary, again for being so patient with me during our Twitter interview. I thought I was just posting your replies to the questions as normal tweets and not doing it 'live'. My apologies again. However, I did think as a follow up - perhaps tomorrow or Saturday, I could post a 'transcript' of the interview as normal tweets. What do you think?

Helena

P.S. One of my twitter friends said that she actually preferred how I did the interview initially - doing it as a series of normal tweets. Don't know what you think about that, but I thought I would just pass it on as feedback.

Hello, Gary,

I was just looking through your answers for today's Twitter interview and I found that some of them were over 140 characters, so I've either split them up into two replies or I've shortened them slightly, depending on what you wanted to say. I hope that's O.K.

Gary, I'm sorry for the delay in getting back to you. How about doing the Twitter interview on Thursday, 17 Dec.? If I post it about 8.00pm U.K. time, that should be 3.00pm EST (I think). Would that suit?

Yes book promotion is frustrating and difficult. All the more reason to try new approaches that can be fun too. i finished my second Twitter interview with author Stephanie Frank:
http://twitter.com/StephanieFrank Here is a little summary:

(I'm Stephanie Frank, author of The Accidental Millionaire and President of Success IQ University.

The book is about the entrepreneurial journey, the happy times, the tough times and what it takes to really be an entrepreneur.

You know how sometimes entrepreneurs feel isolated, fearful and not knowing where to turn for help?

People need to understand how to expertly navigate the roller coaster of life. Ups and downs happen every day - it's what you do.

I wrote the book because I've been very successful as an entrepreneur, and wanted to show others how to "be" and "Think" )

So, again, why don't we work together? Have a great weekend...Gary

Gary, I've finished my Twitter interview and I've made a copy of yours, so I can post it any time you wish. As I live in the UK, there will be a time difference to take into account. I don't know when you would prefer to have the interview 'done', but the best time for me to post would probably be early afternoon or in the evening after 8.00pm or so - my daily routine is not 'set', so it would just depend on what I'm doing that particular day. I believe UK time is 5 hours ahead of EST. Please find a copy of my interview below.

#1. Please introduce yourself to our Twitter friends and what is the title of your book?

My name is Helena Harper, I live in the UK and have been a teacher for many years. My book is called “It's a Teacher's Life...!”

#2. Will you tell us a little about your book?

It's a collection of easy-to-read, 'anecdotal' poems, based on my own experiences as a teacher, full of humour & irony. Only 80 pages long!

#3. Why did you write it?

To give an insight into the ups and downs of teachers' lives. Teachers are often so misunderstood. My book gives them a voice.

#4. Why should people buy it?

Amazon top reviewers say it's “highly entertaining, readable & refreshing/ a delightful little book/ wonderful poems written from the heart”

Another review: “a wonderful gift for anyone wishing to understand not only teachers, but all people who dedicate their lives to service.”

#5. How can people find out more about it today?

Lots of extracts on my website http://www.helenaharper.com – just read and enjoy!

“Imagination spreads wide its wings/the soul takes flight/& the spirit sings!” Helena Harper, poet, author of “It's a Teacher's Life...!”

Hope that's OK, Gary.

Gary, how does Monday morning look for a Twitter interview? Is Monday a good day to do it or should we do it on Tuesday?
