Hi Charlotte -- It was great hearing from you. I
remember Marina City. In fact, I remember when it was
built. Dating myself I know.
I too love Chicago except for the winters. That is why
I now reside in South Florida. I miss the Christmas'
we spent downtown at Marshall Field (which no longer exists) having breakfast with Santa.
Last year I did do a book signing at Borders for my
first book of poetry. Now at Barnes&Noble they
will be presenting my new release, "Immortal Feelings" and my first book, "Expressions from My
Heart." I am very excited.
Thank you for all your well wishes. I wish you the
best of luck with your writing.

Heck, neighbor, (the Texas part, I live in Louisiana) I never turn down a chance to hobnob with bookstore owners . . . LOL . . . An exciting life you seem to have led . . .
Hi Charlotte, glad to see you have set up your page. I cannot tell if I have been added as your friend and do not see you on mine. Hope to see you at the Greenhouse soon. I am still working like a dog on the audio interviews for the CEO.
I'd also be more than happy to do an interview with you on your cool column on "Today's Zaman" on various environmental issues (to do with the book or not). See my blog, The Alien Next Door, where I discuss a number of science-attitude-environmental issues that may interest you.
Hey, Charlotte! Thanks for the compliment. I'd LOVE to go visit you in Istanbul sometime and do a seminar. I'm booked for Canadian places this year and Paris early next year. In lieu of coming out can I send you some promotional material on my book? (e.g., posters, bookjacketed excerpts, bookmarks)?
Deborah, visited the website. Very thought provoking-tell us what can we do to leave less of a carbon footprint here in a city of 16 million? You mentioned to not leave any carbon footprint. For example, in a city the size of Istanbul, people cannot be expected to ride the bike everywhere when you are in business? Can you be more specific on how changes can be made? Thanks!

This is an article I did for "Let's Meet Where the Continents Meet" A turkish blog.
I left you a message but it looks as though it is gone. That's strange. Anyway I enjoyed reading Today's Zaman. Very interesting. Please read my blog at www.climateofourfuture.org and let me know what topic you are interested in. I met a gentleman from Instanbul that was most interested in high temperatures, I understand it is quite hot there and there are fires. All my articles are copyrighted I have obtained permission. Feel free to contact me anytime.
Thank-you,
Deborah
I enjoyed reading your column. Today's Zaman is quite interesting. The topic of global warming is so vast. You can read my blog at

Today I have some poetry and a short story up, most days however I do news clippings. Take a peek and then let me know what topic you would be interested in. I spoke to a gentleman from Instanbul that was quite concerned about the high temperatures. All of my articles are copyrighted and I have obtained permission to use my sources.
Thank-you,
Deborah
