We did a book last year called Women Connected: A Session-by-Session Coaching Guide for Women's Groups (endorsed by Marianne Williamson and Christiane Northrup, MD -- see www.WomenConnected.com) which is an invaluable resource for anyone starting a women's group. This is my favorite, but we've also addressed issues of the divine feminine in works such as Path of the White Wolf (www.PathoftheWhiteWolf.com). I work with many female authors. Will take a look at your articles. Your work sounds fascinating! Blessings, Ceci

I live in Turkey and there are a lot of different types of women's issues here. What type have you addressed in your articles and books? Impressed you have been endorsed by John Gray. Great! I 'm a columnist and you may enjoy my articles:

I worked as a paralegal for 4 years in my twenties, writing and publishing my original work (poetry, fiction, and articles) on the side. Since 1988 I've worked exclusively as an editorial and publishing consultant. Originally I worked with several bestselling authors on their books. I'm still in touch with them! But now I work to empower and guide first-time authors and independent publishers who are just starting out. An exciting number of the books and series we've launched have met with phenomenal success. You can find out more about my publishing work at www.CeciBooks.com (People particularly seem to enjoy the Book Credits page). My most recent book, Sacred Visitations, came out last August and was nicely endorsed -- more about it at www.SacredVisitations.com. I see you're thinking of coming to Seattle; love to have coffee with you if we can schedule it before you come. If you do a book signing here, I recommend Third Place Books or Barnes & Noble at University Village, since you're a mystery writer. Blessings to you! Ceci

Hi Ceci,
Thank you for the invite. I'd love to visit you in Seattle. I want to do a book signing up there. I write murder mysteries. I'm just getting over a cold and writing you today. Please keep in touch.

Hi Ceci,

Thank you for the invite. I would be interested in meeting up with you in person to chat since we are nearby. I'm co-speaking at an event in Everett on the 7th of September with Nancy Juetten. We'll be talking about how to build buzz for your business by becoming a "local expert". If you would like more info and an opportunity to check out this eWomenNetwork event, I'd be happy to send you the online link to the event.

In the mean time, thank you for reaching out and saying hello and I will be in touch!

Ceci,
Thank you so much for understanding what my family and I have gone through. It has been the most devastating thing that I have ever gone through, and never want to feel that kind of pain again.

Thanks for the info, Kim. Will certainly pass it along. I've taught at Discover U as well; it's a nice informal venue, and I'll bet you'll have a good turnout. Blessings! Cec

Hi Anne, Any attention by PW is great for an independent publisher. The fact is, the subject matter alone -- on which very few children's authors have written -- will attract booksellers. The reviewer didn't "get" the book clearly, but the appearance of the title in PW will be helpful anyway! If they had really thought it wasn't worth anybody's time, they wouldn't have reviewed it at all . . . and believe me, they make that decision more often!
All's well! Onward, Cec :)
