Paula, I particularly like mediaval history and the Knights Templar has always fascinated me. What's your take on the book The Da Vinci Code? Ken Follett's Pillars pf the Earth is another favorite.
Hello Paula,
I really like the energy of your web-site. At some point your list of jobs has got to connect with someone, if not everyone. You have given me some tips, including how my history degree can serve me!
Best to you.
Peace out,
Jim
Hi, Paula. Thanks for the friend invite. It's nice to "meet" you! Condolences on the loss of your friend. May you experience the Lord's peace and comfort during this time of loss.
Thanks for the invite, Paula. Your opening for FraterFamilias sounds intriguing. I love a good mystery, but tend to focus on non-fiction. I'm sorry to hear about your partner and wish you success in finishing the projects alone. Blessings!
I try to have an open invitation for others on the network. Since I do a broad variety of things, I also have a broad variety of interests, which includes meeting new people I might not otherwise do if I limited my horizons.
So, unless someone is a spammer, stalker or into pornography (all unlikely on Ning), I try to get around to inviting them eventually, assuming they haven't beaten me to it.
First, I am sorry for your loss. The Christian Counselor in me hopes that you are allowing yourself to grieve in all its wacky stages and that you give yourself whatever time it takes to do so.
Thanks for your invitation. I love SF, so we have that in common. Wonder what moved you to ask me to be your friend, though. Let's share and see how we can support each other.

Great Scott! I meet frequently with a bunch of Speculative Fiction writers in a critique group. I am not good at critique and I do not understand speculative fiction--but the writing is just the same. Send your protagonist up a tree then light the tree on fire. May it go well with you. Alaska Jim

Thanks! I tend to prefer non-fiction, too, but I'm always a sucker for a good mystery.
Thanks for the invite. I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I know you will complete the projects with love and care.
Best...

The path you've shared may seem lonely now but I think as you continue her work you'll feel her near. Best wishes.
