First of all, I signed my first copy of Spawn of the Curse a couple days ago! My #1 fan stopped by the house to trade books and buy another one so now he's got all 3 of my books which are all signed. Someone wrote a book about him and he wanted me and my hubby to have a copy. He signed his copy too. He used to play for the Globe Trotters and is quite famous in Anderson, Indiana which is where I love now. I'm not much into sports but its something I will cherish and be proud to own! I'm glad I can say I know someone famous and someday, he will say the same thing. He's already bragged about me to his friends lol.

Spawn of the Curse is now available on Amazon which is really cool. Of course, its under Amber Grosjean instead of my pen name as Amber Rigby Grosjean but that's ok. As long as people follow the link from my website, they won't have any problem finding it. I'm just glad it made its way there.

I just learned that Cursed Blood is going to be made available as a hard cover! I'm getting ready to order my copies in the morning. Right now, they are running a special, buy one get one free for order more than 9. I'm keeping one and then using the others to keep on hand for people who want a signed copy. I love signing my books!

Later this week I am going to try to get the library to order my books, maybe even have a reading with them. I'm not the greatest reader but I will give it a shot. Its about time I did that lol. I haven't had a signing since my first book came out and it terrified me into not having another one yet. The book store scheduled it at the wrong time possible. There was a graduation at the local college and a big race going on in Indianapolis at the very moment as my signing. Needless to say the store even did bad. I had to bring in my books for the signing because it was a POD book. I didn't lose any money on it because I ended up selling my books afterwards plus they sold a couple after too. I guess I was just afraid I would have to bring my own books again which I haven't been able to afford to buy my books lately so it got in the way. My finances have picked up a little so hopefully that will change soon! Now that I have a printer I can try again and see where the road takes me!

It just goes to show, a poor person can't sell his or her books very well lol. But hey, I'm doing what I can and enjoying it. I know things will pick up, I just have to have the same faith in it that I have in my writing. I'm talking to people and giving them my business cards and people are checking out my website so things are picking up. One of these days, I will talk to the right person and my career will really pick up! I will just have to work harder to make sure that happens for me.

Ok, that's enough for now lol. I will be back again with more updates!
