2D Vs 3D Images
You Decide.
We've all heard "a picture is worth a thousand words" If that is true, then the quality and attractiveness of the image if that's only the beginning.
Take a look at any author site, any book marketing site, and you will see books presented in 2D.
However, take a look at software sites, professional marketing sites for books, and other products, and you see 3D. Why? Because 3D sells; it makes a product more impressive, more real to a prospective buyer.
I just published a new eNovel, "Fire Night."
Notice the jacket on the left, presented in 2D. Compare it to the one on the right, presented in 3D, complete with reflection and shadow. A potential buyer takes a look and is immediately drawn to the one on the right, even if it is an eBook—which it is. The Hardcover/softcover will be published in March.
On sites like Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and others, 2D will continue to be the format for books. To do otherwise is too costly and time consuming.
So, if you want your book images to pack more punch, we can help.
