This is my sixth book set in the grey world of people trafficking, starring Lieutenant Karen Harris CGC of Unit T.

People trafficking is the scourge of the modern world. I can never understand why governments, who after all are made up of human beings, can ignore the suffering of not just a few victims, but tens of thousands.

The actions contained in my books, as far as trafficking goes, is factual, although the military side cannot be, as they don't exist. They, like the politicians, who can only pontificate, prefer to play at soldiering, giving each other campaign medals to attach to their uniforms. Pulling a child out from a life of abuse, girls forced into prostitution, gets no medals!

The Blurb

The commander of Unit T, Lieutenant Colonel Karen Harris, already struggling to contain the escalation of people trafficking; was assisting the British police in taking down a particularly vicious trafficker group from Nigeria. While this should have been relatively simple for Unit T, informers warned the traffickers in advance; resulting in an operation that went disastrously wrong, and the carnage of victims at an unprecedented level. This shook Karen, hardening her resolve to take out this group no matter where they went.

Tracing the Nigerians to Istanbul, and with this country being out of Unit T's jurisdiction, Karen decided with a covert operation to bring them to justice. Except, unknown to Karen, they knew she was coming, with a plan that was about to teach her a very harsh lesson, beyond anything she'd ever experienced in her life. This time Karen may not survive.
