FORMER TEACHER LAUNCHES CRITICALLY-ACCLAIMED
YOUNG ADULT ZOMBIE NOVEL

Dig into mystery, horror and romance on the islands of Hawaii, where zombies aren't the only living nightmares for an eighteen-year-old girl and her two friends in a fun page-turner.

Los Angeles, California, November 1st — Young Adult author/actor and former New York City English teacher, Ace Antonio Hall, debuted the second edition of his horror novel Confessions of Sylva Slasher in the “Zombie Pop” collection on October 19th as part of Montag Press' YA horror line.

Hall, who moved to Los Angeles living in 2003 and became a Director of Education at the Sylvan Learning Center and Vice-President of the Greater Los Angeles Writers Society, has been working toward publication ever since he left both positions in 2008 and 2011, respectively. The writer of the Original Star Trek series episode entitled The Trouble with Tribbles, David Gerrold once told him until he wrote a million words it was all practice. It took Hall 800, 000 words and many twelve-hour plus sessions in a corner of Starbucks to finally come up with a story he could sell; putting truth behind Gerrold's words.

Set in Hawaii is a coming-of-age story of Sylva Fleischer; an eighteen-year-old girl plagued by feelings of abandonment from her parents who work tirelessly as scientists. When school is out, Sylva and her friends earn money as necromancers raising the dead for police investigations and mourning families. Two years after Brandon, her high school crush, is assumed dead, Sylva's friends convince her to go on a spring break cruise in an effort to diffuse her growing depression. But when passengers mysteriously die and reanimate into flesh-eating creatures like she's never seen before, Sylva plunges into a horrifying struggle between a ship infested with the undead and the scariest thing of all: a second chance with Brandon after she discovers he's still alive. They all need to work together or the entire human race may face extinction if they fail. Will Sylva and Brandon get a fresh start at romance or will the undead crash the party?
