Seth and Caleb Simpson live in Tennessee, they both seem to be normal young men except they happen to be scientist.
Seth is the oldest and carefree he takes his work lightly and enjoys life while his younger brother Caleb is obsessed with history so much so that he is not just satisfied with reading about it he wants to experience it first hand, so he does what any good young scientist this day and age would do, he built a time machine.
Once completed he then convinces his impartial brother to join him to travel back to 1912 and witnessing first hand teddy Roosevelt give a speech but something goes wrong causing the two young men to inadvertently stop an attempted assassination of the president, so then their adventure begins.
Read how they are accused of the attempt themselves and then released after the confession of the true assassin and then they lose the only way of traveling back home
