Something About Me and My Book:: Arthur H Tafero is a writer born and raised in New Jersey. After high school and a stint in the US Army, Mr. Tafero moved and worked in New York City for the next several years as a teacher, reference librarian, professor and public lecturer. He is a featured speaker for the New York Council of the Humanities on the subjects of Confucianism and Taoism and has lectured at Dowling College, CW Post, and Columbia University in New York.
Mr. Tafero is a graduate of Columbia University with an MA in Educational Administration. Previously, he had attended Jersey City State College (now New Jersey City University). He has been a worldwide recognized Sinologist, who has published numerous books on China as well as personal collections of short stories and two novels. Mr. Tafero is currently a visiting professor at Jimei University on mainland China in Xiamen. He lectures on Strategic Management and Planning as well as Marketing and other business courses. He is married to Wang Lijun (Cici) Tafero and is the father of three children: Thomas, Elise and Joseph.
Mr. Tafero is the owner of askmrmovies.com, a repository of over 2500 movie reviews and has a hobby of collecting movie memorabilia from the 1930s.
