Any suggestions on how to get rolling with publishers weekly?

I recently purchased 1001 ways to market books, and in it, John Kremer refers to submitting a column to 'my say' section of publishers weekly & other blog opportunities within PW. I emailed PW to find out how to get started writing these blog/columns and the fella replied back with 'you must be thinking of another magazine'. What was John Kremmer referring to and how do I get involved?
