Hello everyone,
I'd love to get some feedback from anyone who has a website to promote their book. I am a first time author and in the process of creating my own website. My book Acting with Integrity is a "how to" book for aspiring actors and can be purchased as an ebook and in paperback. Thanks and good luck to you!
Sincerely,
Ryan Kitley

You are so right. Writers are positive and optimistic. I was asked in an interview about the old phrase the authors have fragile egos. Nothing could be further from the truth. We are a tough skinned bunch who see our glass constantly filling further.

I agree totally, Barbara! The glass half full is the way I look at life too. I am a new author and sales are horrible right now even though I have been plugging it non stop but, at some point I will speak, write, or call the right person and who knows. The one thing I have plenty of is optimism. Without hope we wouldn't start the first sentence.

That was a very heart warming video. It is so true that we have to never give up on our hopes and dreams no matter how frustrating and hopeless life seems. It is a great joy remembering that there is always hope just around the horrison. We should see the cup as being half full instead of half empty.

Jim,
I do the same and have found that participating in discussion, submitting relevant news stories and answering questions on these social networking sites does help a lot. My experience has been that I get more orders for my books, more visitors to my blog and more opportunities to be interviewed by the press and to form joint ventures with others in the same industry.
