A cartoon book cover!

I design a lot of book covers but I'm rarely asked to use my cartooning skills for the cover image. The most recent requests came from author Richard Herr for his books, Invasion From Fred (a YA novel) and Dog & Pony, Vol. 1: Aloha (a quirky, humorous novel in which all sort of crazy mishaps befall a company that organizes business and product presentations for their clients). The idea for the cover of Invasion From…

Turn the volume up, the lights down and get your creepy on!

Drop everything (unless it's breakable) and settle back for a good cup o' creepy. Episodes 1, 2, 3 and 4 of the full-production, illustrated audio/visual readings from the supernatural/occult crime thriller, Ash: Return Of The Beast, are up and running. This modern-day serial killer chiller is set mainly in…

The Writing of ASH: RETURN OF THE BEAST - Or How I Learned Not To Be Afraid Of The Dark

One of the interesting things about writing a novel is that the process often requires the writer to reach down inside in order to access the storehouse of thoughts, feelings and life experiences that he’s accumulated over the…

Your Book Cover: What Kind of a First Impression Does It Make?

I was just reading a blog where a lady said she was ashamed to admit

she tends to ignore books with amateurish covers even though she

suspects some of the stories inside those covers might be pretty good.

As a book cover designer (www.bookcoversandvideos.webs.com) I can tell you no one should feel guilty about judging a book by its cover.

Why?

Because humans are, by nature, extremely… Continue

Video Trailer for The Ezekiel Code

Profile Information

Something About Me and My Book:
Gary Val Tenuta
Author of THE EZEKIEL CODE

Gary Val Tenuta - former contributing writer for Fate Magazine (U.S.) and Beyond Magazine (U.K.) and a guest on numerous radio programs (including Dreamland, hosted by best selling author Whitley Strieber and The X-Zone hosted by Rob McConnell) - has crafted an exciting mystery novel with an esoteric edge that may upset certain segments of the population while at the same time enthralling others with it's alternative perspective on reality and its vision for the future.

It's all here in one puzzling page-turner of a novel: conspiracy, codes, secret societies, UFOs, ancient mysteries, the prophetic Mayan calendar end-date of 2012, alternative interpretations of Biblical events, mystifying metaphysics, good guys, bad guys, murder most foul and, yes, even a touch of romance. All of this, and more, is intricately woven into the multifaceted storyline of THE EZEKIEL CODE.

From its cryptic prologue to its dramatic climax, THE EZEKIEL CODE is a skillful blend of fact and fiction with likable, vividly developed characters:

Zeke Banyon is a handsome Catholic seminary dropout who now runs a homeless shelter in Seattle's old waterfront district and Angela Ann Martin is an attractive young widow who just wants a simple part-time job at the shelter. But a single twist of fate turns their simple lives upside down when together they stumble onto a mysterious code and a rumor about a lost scroll penned by the prophet, Ezekiel, thousands of years ago. They soon find themselves thrust deep into a world of secret societies, metaphysics, mystery and murder as they jet across continents in a race to understand the code that will lead them to an ancient artifact of profound importance. Dodging rogue Jesuit priests at every turn and unaware that the Illuminati are ever-present in the shadows, Zeke and Angela soon discover it's not just their own lives that are in danger but also the lives of everyone on the planet.

Is Zeke Banyon the Chosen One of an obscure ancient prophecy? And if so, can he successfully accomplish the mission fate has in store for him? Nothing in seminary school could ever have prepared him for this.

2012 is coming...The clock is ticking…The code must be deciphered…And only one man can save the planet...If he can just figure out how - before it's too late.

Great to hear back from you Gary. I checked about kindle and figured out what it means...I was wondering all the times when i was visiting amazon...it seems very challenging...I'll talk to my publisher if we can find common ground about that. I am promoting as much as I can find on the net sites that deal with promotion. This site is nice I like it very much, there are some others. I even did my book trailers. Will do some more, this was just a beggining. I am in Tv industry and that job is familiar to me.
We see how it goes. Yhe book is very new in some knowledge about consciousness and it is very interesting read.
And again about kindle...have your publisher done that or it was your action. Who is your publisher?
Best regards
Kamelia

Hi Gary,
Thanks for your comment. The book is not on kindle, I realy do not know what that is...I'll check. I am from Macedonia and my book is published in US and many things are not familiar to me.
YOu asked me about the book. It is an opening to the new dimensions of awareness through love and symbiosis of mind. I can't say it is adventure, but in one way it is. Travel through time, parallel universes, fenomenon of the third eye, all that combined through romance.
Congatulations for you book that is in top 100...it is a great thing to happen. Have you done any special publicity or it was a natural procass?
Best

I watched the video of your book. Looks very intriguing.
A novel like this must have taken you years to write, how many exactly?
