I checked out your article about writing for free vs not doing so. I totally agree that there is no such thing as writing for free. How is a potiential customer going to feel good about buying one of my books if they haven't a clue who I am? By who I am I mean who I am on paper.

I have a sort of newsletter blog http://paidraspen.blogspot.com where everything is free. I have short stories, articles, all sorts of stuff that allows the reader to know me. I think of the grocery store that gives out samples on Saturdays.
