Writing About Where You Are......

Travel writing is about observational experiences and what they mean to us. It's about writing from where we "are" and where we've been. I find that I write more when I travel than at any other time.

My book is about my travel to Africa in 2009 to climb Mount Kilimanjaro at age 60 with my son and our efforts to bring a classroom and clean water to a community close to the mountain. It will be released in August. If you would like to read more, you can do so at www.plankilimanjaro.blogspot.com.  I should have a sample of the book available on my blog in a week or two.

Regards,

Barry

I write self help memoirs on personal growth through travel so travelling is an important part of my life. I take physical adventures as well as travelling through stages of adult
development.
