Something About Me and My Book:
"Dear Miss Perfect: A Beast's Guide to Proper Behavior" is a spoof on advice columns, with animals writing in with their problems. The porcupine wants a dancing partner. The elephant wants to know what to do with his trunk between courses at dinner. The Komodo dragon is afraid of being eaten by her parents. "Dear Miss Perfect" received a starred review from Kirkus.

Right now I'm working on a musical "Just a Matter of Time" (I wrote the book & lyrics) that was produced at the Sage Theatre in New York in January and we're doing here in Boothbay August 9-18.

Glad to hear from you. I don't know if you have ever had a manuscript edited by an editing service, but I've recently been scammed out of $950. So I am trying to warn others ands perhaps get some more info on the scammer. By the Book Editing, run by Angela Faith Brown in Los Angeles, took my money and did not do the editing job. She refuses to answer any emails from me and has taken her website down. She refused to send a refund when I requested it about a month after I sent her my final payment of her fee and kept making excuses for not sending the edited manuscript to me. I am continuing my efforts to track her down and if you or anyone else can help me locate her, I will be forever grateful. It just seems like the authorities don't want to bother with one complaint and won't do anything unless there are several who have been scammed by her. No wonder scammers get away with this kind of thing.
