Something About Me and My Book:
I have always loved history and reading about people who were able to overcome difficulties in their lives.

Thus was born "Women of Courage", a compilation book of twenty three women of faith who beat the odds and ond ovecame extreme hardships.

People like Mother Theresa, Martha Washington, Corrie Ten Boom, Rosa Parks and more. This is the first book in the "Gardens of Grace" series, with book two "Women of Faith" being released June 30, 2008.

Book number three in the series is entitled "Women of Grace" and is scheduled for release Mother's Day 2009.

I am an Arizona native and live in the Northwest Valley in Peoria. I have been an emergency dispatcher, Emergency medical Technecian and have worked E.R. Trauma as part of my medical background. After 11 years in healthcare, I made a career change and began work as the Chaplain for the Arizona State Legislature. I enjoy Chaplaincy work and working closely with our state leaders and their staff.

I am also a speaker and love to act whenever I have the opportunity. I'm an occasional guest on radio programs and Christian television, mostly appearing on the local TBN station in Phoenix.

I'm doing my first webinar this fall through my website and am anticipating doing web radio in the near future.

I love all creative outlets, family, friends and especially my faith. I love mexican food, reading biographies, watching the history channel and of course I love well mad movies.

My husband Ross, who is a Peoria firefighter Paramedic, and I have been married twenty years and have a 17 year old daughter. We have two Malta-Poos, Nicki and Chrissy who keep us entertained with their lively antics.

    Hi,
I love your book compilation ideas--they sound wonderful! I live in WA state, but have family in Chandler, so I get to visit now & then. I also worked as a 9-1-1 dispatcher at one time.
    Blessings,
    Heidi
