I've been pleased with the tour, thus far. Dorothy Thompson is great to work with, and Pump Up Your Books is very affordable.
However, it's still too early in the process for me to be able to judge whether or not this will have a significant effect on exposure and sales. I'm two weeks into it, and my personal blog has not seen a significant increase in hits.
So, I'll be better able to answer how effective the tour is, say, in mid-January when the smoke has cleared. But I'm making 20-plus stops at some popular places, so my guess is I've made a much larger mark than currently appears.
I haven't been at bookmarket for a while. Welcome to FL Writers online group.
I'm a member of FL Writers Assn.--a wonderful group for learning, networking, and submitting work to the quarterly magazine. It's actually not only for Florida any more. We have national and even a few international members!
If you'd like to check it out, please come to http://www.floridawriters.net.
To answer your question,The woman doing our edit has been at it for about a week.We had to be in line prior to that. She is up to about chapter 14 last we heard....and has twenty five total. So maybe two three weeks left.(I hope) Then I have to fix and return to her. I 've been pretty fortunate in that no major flaws in storyline flow...just grammer. I love comma's.
Have a good one, Valerie
