Profile Information

Something About Me and My Book:: I am a California native, and a graduate of San Jose State University.
After college, I took a Civil Service job and married. The failure of my marriage, prompted a change in my life. I took a job with a Silicon
Valley firm that had me living in Seattle for a while, then back to San Jose. I then proceeded to travel throughout the US, even to Alaska. A
change in the economy caused me to start traveling in Asia and Europe. Later, I lived in Virginia for a few years. Then it was Southern Calif. It was not until I moved to a forested hillside in Northern Calif.
that I began to write. The old mines, and rough characters of this area, inspired me to write Redemption for a Lonely Man.

My book is Redemption for a Lonely Man. It is a crime/ action/ romance, set in extreme Northern California. Bill Andrews has returned home, after years away. He has come home to bury his Parents, and to handle his inheritance. The years he spent with the Navy, first with the SEALs, then with the NCIS, makes the County Board eager to have him fill his Father's term as County Sheriff. He is a handsome Widower, so there are affairs. His discovery of a Grass Farm on the local Indian Reservation, involves him with the DEA, and his neighbor's statuesque Daughter. Jennifer quickly reminds him of his late, disturbed wife. Anita is the PR person for the DEA, and a lovely Divorcee. She and Bill develop a relationship, as drug trafficking is found to involve some old gold mines. An attempted
assassination of Bill, by the Drug Cartel, reveals a traitor in his Department. Jennifer continues to inject herself into Bill's life, his
rejection drives Jennifer over the edge. The Traitor is revealed, and killed. The Cartel is ready to move semi loads of drugs, so it is time for a raid. A dozen Cartel 'soldiers' with AK-47s face off with a combined Sheriff's SWAT Team/ DEA force. The night time raid is violent, with many dead and wounded. In the aftermath, the Sheriff, Anita, and Bill's TV Reporter Daughter must defend themselves from Cartel assassins. Revenge is how the Cartel handles any setback. Can two armed women and Bill deal with this threat?
