Accidental Cowgirl: Six Cows, No Horse and No Clue is an account of my twelve years on a ranch in remote Trinity County, CA, and how my husband and I learned the hard way that "the simple life" is not so simple.

The Tyranny of the Blog

"Don't do as I do...," if you're like me, you probably remember the very tone in which this old but effective threat was issued, yet I find myself becoming even more scattered than Mom was at her best. The result is that I have blogs all over the place. The worst is the one on my homepage, whose last blog entry was written in January of the previous year.
