Something About Me and My Book:

Nicole Coverdale is an American writer of thrillers, mysteries, suspense, romance and a little bit of dystopia. Born in St. Paul on October 2, 1986 she found her first love for writing at a very young age. It was kind of a therapy, she tells a lot of people. Being a quiet, shy person it was her way of expressing herself and it soon became a passion. She loves the thrill of being able to create a new world, of bringing characters to life who live in that world and can't see herself doing anything else.

She currently just finished her recent novel, Dark Revelations and is looking to re-publish her first book, Fearless, by the beginning of September. Her next work, tentatively titled, Devil's Game is next on her list of novels to write.

When Nicole isn't writing, she likes to catch up on her favorite TV shows, cook some new dishes in the kitchen, and of course read a good book now and then. She currently resides in southern Minnesota with her boyfriend, her gray and white tabby, Felix, and her black lab, Hunter.

To catch up with Nicole and keep an eye out for all news related to her writing, check out her website at and follow her on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Why did I become an Author?

Writing has always been something that I have enjoyed doing. Growing up, I was a very quiet person, and writing was a way for me to get those feelings out. It allowed me to escape into a world that I created, with characters that I could relate to, and I haven’t stopped since.

I think that’s one of the reasons my writing is so great, that I’m able to put myself into every character’s shoes, and feel what they are feeling. Their pain, their anger, their happiness, and their…

Preview to Fearless

She drew in a deep breath, and stepped inside. The house was pitch black, and she blinked, holding her gun in front of her as her eyes adjusted to the darkness. Somewhere in the middle of the room, she detected movement and she swung around. A moment later she was staring into the wide eyes of a young boy who was hovering behind a couch that had been flipped upside down.

Dimitri. She smiled at him and brought a finger to her lips, lowering her…

Getting to know: Nicole Coverdale and Fearless

When was the first time you realized, you wanted to be an author?

I didn’t always want to be an author. Growing up, I wanted to be so many things. I wanted to be a cop, I wanted to be a doctor, I wanted to be a lawyer, but I could never make up my mind about what I wanted to do. The one thing I had always loved to do, though, was write. As a young girl, I used to write about everything. I’m sure many of my teachers could tell you the hours I spent,…
