Something About Me and My Book:: My name is Rosetta Kivi and I live in Finland, Scandinavia. I have written two novels of which the latest one, The Tale of Rose, is translated into English. It will soon be available for reading.

The Tale of Rose is a mystical and earthy fairytale for grown-ups. It is a story about a young woman named Rose, who decides to leave her home village in order to save her friend Granny Angel, who is burdened by a secret. The only person who can help her is the soothsayer, Alfred, who lives on the other side of the Dark Forest. On her journey, Rose experiences countless challenges, the greatest of which is a meeting with the bloodthirsty wolf Howler.

The story deals courageously with the challenging feelings that we all experience: the difficulty of leaving, the pain of separation and the most bittersweet feeling of all – love.
