Something About Me and My Book:
I'm an author who writes in the young adult genre. I have the first two books of the Denthan books on release just now - The Magic Scales and The Second gateway. I tour schools and festivals where I perform 'Just Imagine' workshops. These explore children's own imagination and creativity. I work closely with the charity Asthma UK, who have championed the books as the hero of my stories, James Peck, has the affliction but still has great adventures.

Waterstones Junior Proof Readers
'The Magic Scales is a very gripping book. After every chapter I read I wanted to read a couple more. This book is one of the most humorous fantasy novels I have ever read. Sam Wilding is a breath of fresh air for fantasy. This book has encouraged me to try more books in a fantasy genre. The novel is a wonderful mix of mystery, drama, comedy and fantasy. A fantastic read which I highly recommend.'

Great Work at Achinairn School

Thank you for the friend invitation, Sam. Wish I'd joined Book Marketing back before I wrote my first novel, High on a Mountain. The first half is set it Scotland, and it would have been wonderful to ask an Edinburgh resident about some aspects of it....

I wish you well with your books...the covers look great!

Hi Sam

My two cents :)

I would suggest also selling through http://www.indiaplaza.com
They are the biggest Indian Online Store.

Also a book signing at some leading book stores like CrossWords and Landmark would help.

Cheers

Hi Sam

India sure is a good market for books. Not very sure about the readership of e-books but I can tell you its a growing market.
I would say its a call to take based on investment :)

Best of luck and do let me know when the book is out here... will tell all friends with BlackBerry's.

Cheers
Freya
