Something About Me and My Book:: Hello everyone, My name is Seymour Angles. I am the author of the newest urban novel called "OUT DA HOOD". I also wrote the screenplay and currently working on a soundtrack to aid in promoting the book. The book is about the mindstate that we adopt in the hood while trying to survive our everyday struggles. How many of us justify our wrongs because doing things the right way doesn't always seem to pay off. It is a true depiction of how we view others who may be less fortunate. It is dealing with the demons that keep the less fortunate impoverished. But that's just scratching the surface.

The novel was written in its rawest form. Being an "URBAN" writer, I wanted to give the book a realistic dialect that those of us who've experienced this type of reality would be able to relate. I invite the reader into my thoughts and experiences of what made me who I was and what also made me the man that I've become. Life has many stages of progression that we must all go through in order to appreciate life and what it has to offer. As an author, I just tell it like it is.
