Profile Information

Something About Me and My Book:
I'm a landscape architect and have written my first novel, Cane and Able. The story is based in the late 1950's. The vessel I used to write the book was through a young 12 year-old white boy. He is wanting to learn to drive. His father's black labor, a mentor to the boy, has the opportunity to teach him to drive on a trip through the Mississippi Delta. Not only does the boy learn to drive but more importantly about the wonder and cruelty of life.

I have also written a children's book called Catfish Cowboy and Mr.Turtle.
