Praying His Word Daily

“Father, I praise you for who You are; the Holy One of Israel; the Lord my Holy God. Father, I thank you for your Holy Word in which You told me not to be afraid because You are with me, You will uphold me and those who come against me will not succeed (Isaiah 41.10-11). You said no evil would come upon me, nor any plague would touch my home for You have ordered Your angels to protect me (Psalm 91:10-11). You said that when I walk through rivers of difficulty (when I’m in “over my head”) You… Continue

Remember Who You Are

To other women that have been abused:

REMEMBERING WHO YOU ARE

Before I formed you in the womb I knew and approved of you and before you were born I separated and set you apart…….. Jeremiah 1:5

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you, and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11

Have you found in your life that you are so consumed with another person that you loose your prospective in your own life? That you… Continue

Hello Susan

If you have a moment on a sleepy January Monday, do drop by my latest interview at Unusual Historical Blogspot.

There's a copy of Duking Days Rebellion being offered in a draw too.

You should be able to add friends by clicking on their profile and adding them as a friend (sending a request). As for designing your page, you can customize it by clicking on My Profile Settings at the top right.

I can't help you more because I'm not the programmer behind the ning.

Hi Susan! Great to see you with us again! I sent you a friend request, and I hope it works this time, so we can not only be "official" but you can be part of our very special group as well. Would you go again to the group and request an invitation? I pray it will work this time as well.

Blessings,
Sharon

Thanks, How do I joinChristian Emotional Recovery? I stil can't add or accept friend on my page. I have not been able to personalize my page either. But I will try to figure out how to add from your page. I am so thankful and excited about meeting so many wonderful friends here. I want to be a blessing to everyone.

Wow! What a testimony! You are right when you say we have much in common. God has healed me from near fatal illnesses as well. Guess as long as we serve His purposes and He's not finished with us yet, here we will be to share our stories and encourage others.

How true that God uses us as instruments of blessing before He blesses the instrument!

I rejoice with you daily and am here to support and partner with you however the Lord leads.

Wow! Has it occurred to you that God allows those like us to experince such dramatic intervention so that we can be a living breathing example to others. You see that I write frequently, "what God has done for me, He can and will do for you in His perfect timing and plan and purpose for your life."

This is awesome in every sense of the word. Thanks for making my day! I have much more to share, as I am sure you do, too. I look forward to hearing all about it!

Blessings,
Sharon

P.S. If your ning friend button still doesn't work, perhaps you could go to my profile, click on "send friend request" and see if that works. Also, please, please consider joining Christian Emotional Recovery. You have so much to share. Again, you could go to the "see more groups" link on the main page, got to the description of Christian Emotional Recovery , click on the link to get to the page and request membership from there.

Susan, saw your comment on my post about waiting. Now you've got me curious. What do you see that we have in common? I hope it's not chronic illness or disability, but I am here for you if it is.

Let me now if you'd like an invite to our very special group, Christian Emotional Recovery. Some members like yours truly live with chronic illness and disability, while others need support while waiting for God to turn their lives around, and still others participate as encouragers to be there during life's hard times for those that need them. Whatever your reason(s), we will welcome you with open arms. Please join us!

Warmly,
Sharon

I regard you as a f riend, too, Susan. What's in a click, anyway? Seriously, thanks for your efforts, and I pray that you can register your friends so the system knows what to do! Ning does weird stuff on occasion, so I am not surprised.

Yours in His friendship and fellowship,
Pastor Sharon Billington
