Seven languages and counting!
My book, To Bee or Not to Bee is of a an unusual genre--the illustrated, inspirational allegory. Clever and spiritually sophisticated, it's the story of a disillusioned worker bee who, with the help of a newfound friend, finds fulfillment amidst the mindless tedium and chaos of life in a honeybee colony. Sort of a next generation Jonathan Livingston Seagull.
To Bee or Not to Bee is now in 7 languages worldwide and Sterling Publishing, a subsidiary of Barnes & Noble, will re-release it this fall in hardcover in the U.S., Canada, U.K. and Australia. They're going to hit the gift book market hard.
Check out the trailer, read the first 3 chapters free and send free ecards at www.ToBeeBook.com and let me know your reactions. Enjoy!

Here are the sites listing foreign literary agents dealing in translation rights. There's quite a bit of overlap but I think it pretty much covers the whole world.
Good luck, John

Thank you for the great advice. I would be interested in the details and the sites with foreign rights agents.

Thanks for your comment on my page. I took a look at your trailer and liked it. Have you posted it on YouTube and other video-sharing sites?
You also asked about how to make online publicity more cost-effective. I think that what works best really depends on the book, but focusing on the sites/blogs that reach the right target audience is key and can really make a difference in the success of your campaign.
Good luck!
