I am of a mulitracial individual, celebrating each one of my ethnicities; African American, Native American, Hispanic-Mexican, and Caucasion-Dutch. My passion has been Art, Music, and Cuisine. As a child I always loved to be in the kitchen creating my own recipes and sharing them with my family members, decorating my barbie and paper dolls with scraps of reminants, and singing my heart out in the back yard. My dream was to move to Paris and become a famous fashion designer. I took 2 years of French and won first place for my outfits...I was ready to go. Instead I got married, twice, and was left with 4 children to raise. After reading a book, "The Child In Each of Us" by Rchard W. Dickinson, I found a love for catering my special foods, such as, Tamales, Enchiladas, Burritos, Tacos,...etc. As the years passed the menu grew to Southern Comfort Foods, Barbecue, and Italian Cuisine. I enjoyed cooking and catering to people, since I loved serving. It became my new passion. Since the economical change and after being in the business for over 17 years, I retired it. Then I thought about writing. I took a couple of classes for writing and I began to write my first book. Although incomplete, I found a passion for writing in journals, philosophy, poems, songs, etc.
I have to complete my first book and savor each line I write.
