Something About Me and My Book:
Hi,
I'm Mike. All of my working life I have been in the Entertainment Industry, the first 10 years as a professional Actor, and 20 years as Head of A&R for RCA Records and Pye Records (11 yrs RCA & 9 yrs Pye). For the past 14 years I have been running my own Entertainment Agency and Management Company. In 2001 I was diagnosed with prostate cancer and received the oppropriate treatment, but have had to cut down on my workload, especially the late nights!!! When I started my Entertainment Agency there were no books available to help me, and nobody to turn to, just that well known double act 'trial & error'. I decided to correct this anomoly, and so 'Waiting in the wings' was born. 'Waiting in the wings' is a complete A to Z of the business. It covers such aspects as Setting up in business/Office requirements/Building an Act portfolio/Obtaining Clients/Current legislation/Contracts/ Case Histories and Useful Contacts. It is an invaluable source of reference for those would be Agents/Managers or Impresario's or those that look on in envy at the likes of Simon Cowell and think 'I could do that'. It is a 'must have' for anybody even contemplating entering the Entertainment Industry and, to the best of my knowledge, is the only book available on the subject. Take a look on my Publishers website - www.trafford.com -and just put in the book title in the search box.

Speak to you again soon.

I send you greetings of peace and love from the rest of the family. They, like I, are always with you and never leave or forsake you. The angels and the rest of us want you to know how precious you are to us.

When I agreed to give up my divinity and be born in the flesh, I did so very willingly. I looked forward to the time when we, you and us, could all be together and share in everything that is. I looked forward to loving you, hugging you, comforting you and encouraging you so that, when your life gets tough, you will feel secure and supported enough to face whatever you have to face. I looked forward to being the one you could rely upon unconditionally for that strength, comfort and encouragement whenever and however you need it.

Not only that, I looked forward to sharing with you that we created you to love you, and that we so hoped and desired that you would love us back. We want you in our life, and we love it when you want us in yours. It was so exciting when I could turn to my disciples and expand our relationship to include friendship and true fellowship. I offer that friendship and fellowship to you today as well, and I look forward to your inviting me into your life in that way.

You can see there are many reasons why I came in the flesh so many years ago. There’s more! I also wanted to set you free from thoughts and behaviors that hurt you emotionally and spiritually. If you were hurt by people or experienced hard times in your life and lost things like your health, relationships, or your way of life because of disaster or unemployment, I wanted to give you the tips and tools as well as the encouragement to recover emotionally and spiritually from who or what hurt you so you could have the kind of life I want you to enjoy.

Most of you understand why I sacrificed my life for you and what an act of love that was. It is my hope that this letter will help you understand how very much more my life and ministry were to accomplish. I look forward to expanding our relationship now and forever.

Joyfully, Jesus

Hi! Isn't it amazing how illness or disability open up other opportunities in life? I know of what I write, since I live with both chronic illness and disability. And, yes my life has moved forward powerfully in spite of what I can't do, and I am constantly amazed at what I can accomplish still! Looks like the same is true for you as well.

Michael,

Thank you for becoming my "friend". I agree about taking care of one's health when young. I didn't either. It's just as important (moreso, actually) when one becomes older. Thank you for your comments. When I speak, I combine the two books as one can't disconnect the two ~ body and mind are actually one and using the playbook along with the smoothie book will enhance anyone's health across the board.

Be well and blessings to you and yours,

Revvell

Hi Mike -- Thanks for the comment -- yes Charlotte is in North Carolina-- although I live right on he border so I technically live in South Carolina! But that is enough geography! Your career and book sounds facinating -- I went into Theatre myself, and if it hadn't been for an injury I am sure I would have been working "in the wings" myself (I was a stage-hand/carpenter!)
As far as my book, I define introvert as someone whose energy is pulled out by interactions with others -- an extrovert as someone who gains energy from others. In that way introversion and shyness are different. I am not nearly as shy as I am introverted! I just need time to "recharge" after dealing with a lot of people!
Best of luck to you. - Meghan Wier www.meghanwier.com
