Something About Me and My Book:: I have written a children’s alphabet/nutrition book. It will educate children from K-3 to learn the alphabet while at the same time teaching them healthy eating habits. The healthy eating habits children will learn will empower them to be successful in school. You cannot learn when you are hungry; and good nutrition helps kids in every aspect of their lives. The book is written in the format: problem, solution and conclusion. This will make children think about the consequences of their eating habits and hopefully make them realize that good nutrition and health are in their control.. The characters in the book are all healthy natural foods not processed foods. As a health and nutrition advocate this is the only type of children’s book I would feel comfortable writing about. As an added bonus when children start eating more natural foods it will also help them maintain a healthy weight and possibly lose weight if need be. “The Adventures of Tommy the Tomato” will teach kids how to eat healthy while having fun at the same time.
