Today's writing...

I had a rather productive day. Hoping to repeat that process tomorrow. Of the two stories I hoped to finish before DragonCon, it looks like only one will make it, although the other has made some significant progress and I should finish it after the con. I've got a lot of errands ti run tomorrow so time to call it a night and catch some zzzzzzz's. Sweet dreams, my friends.

TALK ABOUT YOUR FLASHBACKS!

Whoa! Talk about your flashbacks. I ran across this photo from 2009. In my office at my old house in front of my Lance Star: Sky Ranger poster. My goodness, look at all that dark hair. Hard to believe the beard is almost stark white now, just 9 years later. Of course, this was taken right after I got laid…

Sea Cliff - Mary Deal, Author

All her life, her father reminded that she didn't know how to do anything competently.  He'd painfully flick her ear, or slap or kick her when he was frustrated.  He'd use a board if he had one in his hand.  He destroyed what little self-confidence she had and denied her any opportunities to prove her…

One Sip at a Time: Learning to Live in Provence by Keith Van Sickle

Can a two-career couple really pick up stakes and move to Provence?

When Californian Keith Van Sickle accepted an overseas work post to the French speaking Neuchatel in Switzerland, he and his wife could have believed that this event would be the stimulus which would change their lives forever.

A SOBERING THOUGHT...

A sobering thought, no? Sometimes it's easy to forget how many people are watching us, a lesson I was reminded of recently.

IT'S TIME FOR ANOTHER INSTALLMENT OF BOBBY'S BOX ART!

I mailed out some packages of books today so you know what that means... it's time for Bobby's Box Art! Of the 4 pieces I sketched today, I think Spider-Man came out the best. Deadpool is okay. The markers we're a bit too dark on Captain America and The Hulk though. Always a concern when drawing against a brown background. #amdrawing #amwriting #BobbysBigBoxOBooks

These are fun. I enjoy drawing them.…

The Last Keeper Of The Light: A Dystopian Fantasy by Nikki Broadwell

The world was dark, the grid down—probably for good. No one knew why.

Raiders held the upper hand, combing the forests in search of what they needed. Weapons were in short supply, as was food and clean water.

Sandal had…
