I had the opportunity to work with a talented writer and generous lover in the
form of
Darren
Sant.
Um, one of those statements is only hearsay.
Regardless of which, we birthed a new story onto the world. It happens
to be available now, today, this minute, from…

No, it's not a delicious frozen treat for when you settle in with a good book.
I'm talking about Giovanni Gelati. Maybe you've heard of him? Trestle Press front man, anchor of the Author's Lab collaboration series, social media and internet marketing whiz. I wrote
"A Prince in Trenton, Seriously?" with the guy. Yeah, that's him.
He has…

Once again, Mr. Gelati is rather generous with his words about my words. Today
he reviews The Two Johns. This is my first entry for Trestle Press's Author's
Lab series. I had an excellent time working with Giovanni and he had some things
to say about my work.
"Reading the work is like watching a skilled
mechanic go about his business..." from Gelati's Scoop.

Maybe this is out of character for me, but I am grateful to read these kinds of
reviews about my writing.
Giovani Gelati says, "I know as a reader,
sooner or later he is going to drop the anvil on my head."

Where was I? I had to look back at the last blog post to see which book I left off with. My dial up system isn’t working right. I’ve placed several calls to see why I get disconnected or not able to dial in. Each time I get a different person that thinks the problem is solved. In just a few minutes, I find out I still get cut off. So this morning I’m going to give posting a try before I call in for more advice on what to do Where next. We went to Mt. Pleasant, Iowa on Friday at the start of the…

Hi, all!
On Murderby4 - our award winning writers blog - we've been blessed with some great guests in the past, including our beloved Warren Adler, but today we welcome Laurie R. In case you have, here's a fresh opportunity to misbehave.
The newest chapter of Reprisal is available now from Trestle Press. In Shadow Boxing, the story takes a little turn...for the worse. Travelling that lonely stretch of road out of Reprisal to the west will lead you to the Edgar King penitentiary. This is where Chapter 3 begins. This is your…

A couple weeks ago I went on twitter to click on recent followers. For once the whole list came up fairly quick without telling me to wait because of a hiccup. Turned out to be more tweets than I had received notice about in my emails. I sent a message thanking each one and mentioned my books. In return I had a message back from Kindle Surprise. If I would email my book titles the books would be mentioned on Twitter. I did that. Then I had a tweet on Twitter from Booksie Jar telling me my…
