Profile Information

Something About Me and My Book:
Mark currently resides in Florida with his family. He strives to follow in the footsteps of his namesake, Mark Twain.
His father was a newspaper writer and editor for both the Kansas City Star and Kansan. Mark received his Bachelor’s Degree in Film from the University of Kansas. He has been influenced by C.S. Lewis, Stephen King and Tolkien and movies such as The Dark Crystal, and Star Wars.
Mark has co-written four screenplays, two of which were produced as ultra-low budget direct-to-DVD features and a three episode children’s program. Mark has completed three other novels and a screenplay. Comfort Publishing has published Book I: The Fourth Queen and Book II: The Lost Queen. Book III: The Secret Queen is coming Spring 2012.
Mark believes being a father of four makes him uniquely qualified to write his fantasy stories. His two daughters unknowingly provided the models for the main character sisters.

Check out the archive to see older posts, but I left off with "The Ordeal".…

Olivia Strikes Again

That's right. Episode 3 is here. Like I said before, Olivia has such a great voice as an author. As I encourage her to explore and develop it, it might take a little longer to get these stories done. With her imagination and charm, I think it is worth the wait.
