To Protect and Serve….with a Nice Side Dish

In my ongoing search for incidents of depravity perpetrated by people that we share the planet with, I happened upon New York police officer Gilberto Valle. It seems that on Wednesday October 24th, 2012 agents with the Federal Bureau of Investigation took Officer Gilberto Valle III into custody after they uncovered several plots to kidnap, rape, cook and eat women, yes EAT WOMEN!!! The Manhattan U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara filed the official criminal complaint charging Valle, a…

Police Chase Vampire in Sacramento

Looking out of his apartment window Richard saw the “Goth” kids sitting in the green park grass talking. “Fucking role players,” he said to himself. “They don’t know what it’s really like,” he grunted to himself in an angry tone, just barely audible. The involuntary shaking he was currently experiencing had gotten worse throughout the day.  “They choose to live this way; I didn’t have a fucking choice!” Richard continued as his low mumble became a yell. He became frenzied as he rummaged…

Book Review: ‘Sweet Karoline’ by Catherine Astolfo

“I met Ethan on the day that I killed Karoline.”

Thus begins this psychological mystery. One has to admit, it is a great hooky first line for a book!

What if, in a moment of thoughtless anger, you were to wish your best friend’s demise, then, soon after, that friend ended up dead?

This is the story of our smart, beautiful,…

Something to see

I published my first book, Code of Deceit, in 2007, and I was fortunate enough to have it hit several best-seller lists. I followed that one with Journey of the Spirit—now renamed The People’s Warrior. This one, a historical fiction did fairly well. It was even voted second best in the mainstream category by readers.

Then In 2008, I published Cold Tears. This book exceeded all my expectations, and I have high ones. Voted the best mystery in the world, the sales and accolades…
