Something many authors either don't realize, or want to think doesn't apply to them, is the need to market and promote their works. I'm speaking at the Ten Million Eyeballs Event in Los Angeles, California on May 28th and 29th right before BookExpo America. The event will be in at the Wilshire Grand Hotel in downtown Los Angeles.
