I have a copy of Sue Grafton’s text, “Writing Mysteries.” In my office. Somewhere. It is a really good reference for anyone looking for practical information on the art of writing in the mystery/detective fiction genre. To An Old Classmate

Recently an old classmate of mine from Randolph High School back in Massachusetts got in touch with me via e-mail. I am a big fan of Shel Silverstein, one of the best poets I've ever read (W.B. Yeats not withstanding). I have been re-accquainted with his writing thanks to my children. I recently posted a personal look at how I write. This one might work just as well.
