I send out a newsletter for The Circle of Friends every month to my fan base. One of the sections features another talented author. A Great Book Festival for Authors!

The Book ‘Em Foundation was formed to fight illiteracy and keep kids from committing crimes. Their slogan is “Buy a book, stop a crook.” There are several Book ‘Em events now and many authors attend and donate proceeds of their books to the cause.

Book 'Em Festival

Don't know how many you are aware of the Book 'Em Foundation, but their Waynesboro, VA festival is this weekend. There's sixty authors in attendance, including one from Scotland! (And Dirk is a really cool guy - I could listen to him speak for hours!)

Guest of the Robeson County Library, NC

Next Thursday, January 17th, I have been asked to speak at the Robeson County Library in Lumberton, NC. They have a very active program, bringing in a new author every month - and from far away as Scotland!

Meeting the deadline

Amazing what can be accomplished when there are no distractions!

I finally finished updates & revisions to my publishing seminar and will be attacking the promoting seminar changes tomorrow. The handouts for these seminars needed to be completely revised and ready by January 2nd - I have several colleges awaiting these handouts for seminars I have scheduled this winter & spring!

And I am on the final chapters of Book V of my series. Once this is complete, I will do…

Merry Christmas Everyone!

Wishing everyone a blessed and wonderful Christmas! Make time for family and remember the reason for the season.

My Christmas holiday kicked off last night with Trans Siberian Orchestra in concert! We were on the 11th row and allowed cameras - I tool over 100 photos! (And posted 20+ of them on my Deviant Art site.)

2007 Tour Winding Down

I have two more signings this weekend, and then I am free of commitments until the second week in January!

I have numerous projects to complete between then and now, including the final chapters of Book V, revisions to Book I, revisions to my seminars, and begin work on a publishing & promoting how-to book.
