I'm delighted to say that 'Legacy of the Ripper' has just been awarded 'Recommended Read' status by the reviewers at review body CK2S Kwips and Kritiques. This is great news as the book is also nominated for the 'Best Thriller' award in The Preditors & Editors Awards, won last year by 'A Study in Red'. As this will be my last post before Christmas, I wanted to share with you the latest, really lovely review that my humble little book, Tilly's Tale has received. Martha Cheves is a reviewer with a difference. All the book reviews she carries out are accompanied by a delicious recipe that goes hand in hand with the book. In this case she has provided a WONDERFUL recipe for DOG TREATS. Whoopee. I'm sure she won't mind me sharing her lovely recipe and her review with everyone, so without…

I'm happy to say that Tilly's Tale has picked up another 5 star review at Amazon.com. this follows hot on the heels of the previous two reviews received this week. The 'wag-o-meter' on Tilly's tail is almost off the scale. It just won't stop wagging! Tilly also 'signed' a couple of books at the dog training academy yesterday. She's getting rather good at it...lol
Here's the latest:
5.0 out of 5 stars A wonderful tale to be shared!, December 18, 2009

I'm delighted to be able to add not one but TWO wonderful 5 star reviews received on Amazon and Barnes & Noble by Tilly's Tale. I'm so pleased that the book seems to be doing exactly what it was intended to in terms of reaching out to educate and inform people about the plight of abused and neglected dogs, and about the great work of those who work so hard to rescue and re-home them. As for Tilly, she's so happy her 'wagometer' has gone off the scale and her tail muscles must be…

I'm so pleased that the management at The Mayflower Sanctuary, where we first found Tilly, have given Tilly's Tale a lovely write up in their regular newsletter that goes out to all of their supporters and interested persons. they not only featured the book and the cover, but included pictures of Tilly, Dylan and Charlie who of course all came to us through The Mayflower. A lot of people have told me they would like to receive Tilly's Tale in their Christmas stockings, and currently Amazon UK are saying that orders for Tilly's tale will be available in 4 - 6 weeks and therefore may not reach readers in time. DON'T PANIC! Abebooks.co.uk are currently offering the book, delivered in about a week to 10 days, at a great price of just £3.11 and even with the postage charges added their price works out less than Amazon's, so if anyone wants the book faster…
