Favorite restaurant?

I love the Great Beginnings Cafe in Parker, CO. They have AMAZING cinnamon rolls. Angie's in Castle Rock, CO is the best place in the world for pizza. But really, I'd have to say that my favorite place to eat is my mom's kitchen.

Do you ever take a break from writing one book and write another book, and then come back to finish it afterwards?

I really have to work at finishing a story. I tend to want to jump from story to story, so I force myself to finish one before I begin another.

What books, other than your own, are on your bookshelf?

Which bookshelf? I have TONS of them! I love, love, LOVE books. We have a whole wall filled with bookshelves in our basement, but here are a few of my  favorites: In Freedom's Cause by GH Henty, To Have and To Hold by Mary Johnston, Bachelor Buttons by Kathleen Maher, It's (Not That) Complicated By A & E Botkin, Joyfully at Home by Jasmine Baucham.

How long did it take to write this book?

I originally wrote The Healer's Touch as a (very) short story in 2007. It was about 1,500 words. I started revising and adding to it in April, and had it ready for publication in June, so close to three months to produce this novella.

What projects are you working on now?

I am working on a Christmas Novella entitled The Swaddling Clothes. Many stories have been told down through the ages about Mary, Joseph and the birth of the Messiah. Stories of shepherds and sheep, kings, angels, and stables. But there is one story that has never been told. One story that has remained hidden in the fabric of time. The story of The Swaddling Clothes.

I am also working on book 2 in the Days of Messiah Series currently entitled The Messiah's Sign.
