Widget for Your Book Tours - Get Bigger Turnouts

I am a fan of what Kevin, Adam and Chris have accomplished with their ever-improving, popular and free service for authors: BookTour.

Recently they wrote about this helpful way to publicize your book tour:
BookTour.com tip of the week: Major improvements to author widgets

Widgets are a great way to simplify your life: by entering book tour dates on BookTour.com and using a simple author widget, you can easily show your authors' BookTour events on other websites without having to enter them a second time. More importantly, widgets automatically update to reflect new events you add, so other websites instantly reflect any events you add to BookTour.

For several months we've been listening to your feedback about author widgets, and decided to rewrite the feature from scratch. Here are the improvements we've made:
- Author widgets now expand vertically to fit the number of events they're showing, so they're never too tall (wasting space) or too short (cutting off important events)
- You can customize the number of events your widget shows
- You can customize the width of author widgets so they fit properly on your webpage
- The unseemly white border and the lines between events are now gone on author widgets
- Your widget's color scheme is now totally customizable; you can choose from classic and modern styles, or change the colors entirely to make the widget blend in even better with your webpage (a much-requested feature)
- You can preview the appearance of your widget right on our new widget-design page, and see how tweaks you make affect the widget's appearance in real time
- Author widget data is now totally synchronized with author RSS feed data, so it doesn't matter which format you use to get your BookTour events on your own website
- Widgets load faster than ever

To take advantage of these new features, just log in at BookTour.com, click the Profile link in the upper-right, click the name of the author you want a widget for, and click "Track your tour dates on my website." You'll get simple instructions for putting the widget on your webpage.
