And my God will meet all your needs acording to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:19

I was telling someone about my vacation and I made the statement that it was more than I had expected. I had thought we'd have a good time, but I wasn't really sure if the boys would be in best friend or worst enemy mode. It can go either way on any given day. And can change instantly, without warning.

Throw in the fact that we were going without Bobby, and I just wasn't sure how it would all pan out. But I wanted to take the boys away for a bit, I needed a break from work and I was thankful to just be away for a time, however it went.

And it wasn't a perfect time ... there were a few incidents. One night Carson came out of the bedroom gushing blood from his mouth. Chase had hit him in the lip, accidentally on purpose.

But all in all, it was a wonderful time, in spite of a few little bumps in the road. I really enjoyed spending time with the boys, and relaxing around the pool, catching up on some reading and just hanging out.

When I shared this thought with my friend, I made the comment, "That's what God does!"

When I accepted Jesus as my Lord and my Savior, I figured that my life would change, somewhat. I wasn't really sure what to expect, but I thought that it surely had to be better than it was. And it has changed, but the change has been so much more than I could have ever anticipated.

This is not to say that there haven't been bumps in the road, that my life is now perfect. I can assure you my friend, it's not. But the peace that is inside of me, well, I just could never have imaged how wonderful that is. Peace in the midst of this crazy world we live in.

And that my friend, is God!

He IS so much ...

Father, I am so very thankful to you. You have met all my needs and you continue to meet all my needs and in the process, you have given me this wonderful peace that causes me to jump up and down with joy, literally!! How very special you are. And how wonderful, that the God of the UNIVERSE loves me so much - me - who didn't deserve your love, but you gave it freely to me anyway. Thank you Jesus! And Lord, thank you for a wonderful week with the boys, thank you for the special time we shared.

I Love You Jesus.
In Your Name I Pray,
Amen

God Bless You!

Love,
Joyce
