My Interview With The Local Financial Correspondent

Hi Friends,

It's me, Sean Toh from Singapore, the author of "4 Steps To Financial Freedom." It has been a busy day for me today because my interview with the local financial correspondent was published on the paper today! Phone was ringing non-stop from friends and relatives about us. Us? Well, the picture used for this interview included my whole family - Heather, Jessica & Tranyce.

My wife was so happy because suddenly we had become some sort of celebrities in Singapore. I must say that when your book get the attention, you really feel like a 'mini' star. I guessed that is the real joy of writing a book! However, the people who were even more excited are my friends & relatives because I have been keeping quiet about this book. I didn't know if this book will be a success in Singapore? So I told my wife to keep quiet about it till the media comes out with the great news telling all the friends and relatives.

The local finacial correspondent ( Journalist), Lorna Tan, interviewed me and she actually made the interview a pleasant one for me as it was my first interview. She send a list of questions to let me get ready before the actual meeting. Hence, I took the initiative to write the whole article for her but I also knew that she would modify it to suit the paper publishing requirements. In a way, I help to cut down some job if she likes it. The interview went smoothly and was great as we exchanged ideas about personal finance and investing in the various investment vehicles.
