Urban League Young Professionals Call for African American Authors OKLAHOMA CITY – September 17, 2007 – The Urban League of Greater Oklahoma City Young Professionals is announcing its call for African American authors to participate in its annual Celebration of African American Authors. The event, which aims to promote literature appreciation and commemorate Black History Month, will be held Saturday, February 2, 2008, at Crossroads Mall – Center Court, 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Author registration fee is $50 and a donation of two books. Registration fee and books may be mailed to: OKC Urban League Young Professionals, Attn: Celebration of African American Authors 2008, 3900 Martin Luther King Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73111. Deadline for registration is December 7, 2007, or until all spaces are gone and space is limited.

The Urban League Young Professionals, an auxiliary of the Urban League of Greater Oklahoma City, Inc., is comprised of professionals age 18 to 40.
