You Won't Get the Satisfaction

You almost got the chance to

watch me fail this lesson—

But it just wasn't meant for me

to stay in deep depression.

His love was just too strong

for me to stay so weak—

His peace was just too great

to keep me off my feet.

You tried to intervene, and

make me miss God's action,

But I've got to let you know that

You won't get the Satisfaction.

You've tried so many times before—

you almost had success,

But God in His mercy keeps delivering me

from the misery that is caused by your mess.

He allows me to see the tactics that you use—

He gives me insight on your weapons—

He continues to let me know

that the battle isn't mine, but

I am led by His divine direction.

So regardless of which way you come, or

how you continue to bring forth distractions,

I've got to make you see that I'm strong and

You won't get the Satisfaction!!
