Update on Life is Like Making Chocolate Chip Cookies

I guess I need to update everyone on what is going on with my book, Life is Like Making Chocolate Chip Cookies. I should really put the whole story on a website, but for now I will just give you the update.

My company, Weaving Dreams Publishing (WDP), filed for the ISBN number and received it two days after applying for it. It was suppose to take two weeks. As a fellow author from this network stated, this book is pushing me out of the way to be published.

Last week I reconnected with a friend that I had met last year at a conference and then lost contact with her last winter. I had been thinking about her since June and kept meaning to call her. Last week I finally did. I was so excited about talking to her and finding out what was going on in her life, that she had to ask me about my book. *smile* To make a long conversation short, she is doing the website for WDP!!!! It is in construction right now. When it is up and running the link will be: http://weavingdreamspublishing.com . Check it out when you get time. (Wait a couple of days, okay?)

The final BIG news is that I will have printed, published copies of my book, Life is Like Making Chocolate Chip Cookies, in my hand the beginning of December!!!! I have pre-sold the book for pre-publication, so those people who ordered 3 and 4 copies of the book will have them in time to give for Christmas this year. I am sooooo excited!!

If anyone is interested in ordering a copy of my book, email me at: (Can I do that here?) weavingdreamspublishing@netoptioninc.net

weavingdreamspublishing@suesunshine.com

Here is the logo that was so graciously done for my company.

Well, that is it for now. I am so excited that I can't think of what else to tell you, so if you have any questions, please feel free to ask!

I am soooo blessed!!!

Congratulations! What a thrill for us getting a book published. Marketing it is the hard part. I was gun ho on mine until I started on the second. I wake up and don't know whether to promote the first, write the second, answer emails or look things up on the internet. I also instruct Beginning Writer's Workshops when I can.

My new adventure is speaking at AA meetings, Al-Anon or Alcoholic Rehabs. I did my first speaking engagement Nov. 1st at the Gosnold Rehab in Falmouth, MA. I spoke to 30 women on my life living with and losing both a husband and daughter from this demon. I hope to talk at more locations in the future.
